He is a leading advocate for heritage conservation and cultural tourism in Hong Kong.

Olivia Tang

Growing up in the working-class neighbourhood of Sham Shui Po, Olivia has always loved observing the quirky and lively stories unfolding around her. A Physics graduate of Northwestern University, she worked in Shanghai, Poland, and Switzerland before her deep passion for Hong Kong’s history and culture eventually led her to join Walk in Hong Kong.

Chung-wah Chow

Chungwah is a travel writer who has co-authored Lonely Planet guides and contributed to media outlets including the BBC and CNN. Once drawn to daring adventures, she now explores quieter paths—wandering through forgotten urban spaces, studying the Japanese tea ceremony, and deepening her inner journey through yoga.

Haider Kikabhoy

Curator & Guide

From a family of storytellers, Haider grew up roaming the city's streets in an imagined time machine. Drawn to tales of Hong Kong's past, his tours revive vanished buildings while highlighting the city's modern quirks. He also co-directed To Be Continued, a documentary on Hong Kong's 'first' impresario Harry Odell and post-war cultural history.

Agnes brings her corporate experience as an executive and consultant for Fortune 500 companies into her passion for exploring Hong Kong. She takes pride in sharing the city’s hidden gems with visitors from around the world.

Angus Yeung

Guide

Angus spent years leading outbound cultural tours, with journeys taking him across Iraq, Iran, the Balkans, and Bhutan. Through these experiences, he came to see that the essence of travel lies in learning to understand the world and its people from multiple perspectives. Angus believes that with curiosity, the inspiration found in Hong Kong’s streets and alleyways is no less profound than that discovered in distant lands.

Audrey is a broadcaster with experience in media, education, and cultural heritage. Passionate about art, architecture, and history, especially the 1910s–30s from the Gilded Age to Art Deco.

Benita Chick

Guide

Benita pioneered Hong Kong’s award-winning LGBTQ+ walking tours and founded Encompass HK to promote diversity and inclusion. She continues to inspire dialogue through her tours, workshops, and advocacy.

Cindy Choi

Guide

Cindy, with a Master’s in Finance, is passionate about driving nature and cultural conservation as well as sustainable tourism. A Recommended Geopark Guide of Hong Kong Geopark and a certified EcoGuide, she frequently speaks at international conferences on sustainable tourism and nature conservation.

Davin Yau

Guide

Davin has been deeply interested in philosophy since childhood, developing a persistent curiosity and a passion for exploring ideas in depth. This inquisitive spirit gradually ignited his enthusiasm for Hong Kong’s stories. Since joining Walk in Hong Kong, Davin has brought his keen eye for detail and love of local culture into designing a wide range of themed tours for corporations, government bodies, charities, and schools.

Jack, a history graduate, is passionate about film and music and loves sharing them with others. Realising how much more there is to learn about his city, he became a guide to explore Hong Kong’s history in greater depth.

A true Hong Kong native and pop-culture enthusiast, Lesley turns her love for the city’s cinema, music, and heritage into urban adventures.

With a background in Hotel and Tourism Management, she combines professional expertise to design bespoke tours for corporate, public, and community groups. Lesley is dedicated to sharing the history and heartbeat of Hong Kong’s neighborhoods with the world.

She is a freelance journalist, writer, and publisher, with several publications on local culture and social issues. With a unique academic background in geography, Meiling leverages her understanding of Hong Kong's landscapes and interest in cultural heritage to craft immersive and engaging experiences for her audience. Miranda is a transport planner and an experienced Geopark Guide. With decades of outdoor coaching, she is deeply connected to Hong Kong’s urban and natural landscapes, and is devoted to share her insights on the city’s geology, ecology, and culture.

Roy Chung

Guide

Roy graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a major in Liberal and Cultural Studies. He is currently a freelancer. Due to his love for Hong Kong, he employs out-of-the-box approaches to tell the stories of the city.

Rusty Tsoi

Guide

A History graduate from Hong Kong Baptist University, he majored in European history and World War II studies. His main research focuses on the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941, and he is co-author of “Exposed Outpost: The Battle of Hong Kong in the Pacific War” (in Chinese), “Eastern Fortress: A Military History of Hong Kong, 1840–1970” (In Chinese and English) and “Exposed Outpost: a Review of the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941” (in Chinese).

Stephen has been guiding immersive walking tours across Hong Kong since 2011. With an MPhil from HKUST and a passion for storytelling, he brings neighborhoods like Sham Shui Po, Kowloon City, and Wan Chai to life for audiences of all kinds.

Thomas is a banking veteran with over 40 years of experience, having held senior roles across Hong Kong and other Asia countries. Upon his retirement, he has dedicated his passion in HK history and culture to work as a docent and cultural guide.

William, a former sales and marketing executive, has devoted his retirement to his passion for nature and culture. A Recommended Geopark Guide (R2G) with expertise in heritage, military history, wildlife, and photography, he is also trained in nursing—ensuring guests are always in good hands.
