Night Vibes: Belcher Bay Kennedy Town Comunity Kaleidoscope in Belcher Bay

Immersive community tours and live performances brought Kennedy Town’s local colour to life at Belcher Bay

Commissioned by the Harbour Office of the Development Bureau, this three-night celebration at Belcher Bay was part of the Hong Kong government’s “Night Vibes” campaign in November 2023. Walk in Hong Kong was invited to inject cultural storytelling and creative programming into the waterfront experience, connecting the neighbourhood’s past and present with new audiences.

We designed a hybrid programme combining community walking tours with on-stage performances that reflected Kennedy Town’s distinctive identity. From untold stories of local trades to vibrant showcases by neighbourhood artists, the experience offered a rich and dynamic way to explore the district after dark. With nearly 2,500 attendees across six tours and 18 performance sessions, the project demonstrated our strength in blending heritage interpretation with event design.
