Mapping Stories, Capturing Moments: Cultural Engagement at Central Market
As part of Chinachem Group’s revitalisation vision for Central Market — reimagined as a “Playground for All” — Walk in Hong Kong was commissioned to craft a suite of cultural experiences that connect visitors with the market’s past, present, and creative pulse.
We designed and led a series of community and photography tours, inviting participants to discover the architectural, social, and visual layers that define this landmark. To extend the experience, we are also developing a cultural map featuring four thematic walking routes, each spotlighting hidden alleys, historic spots, and notable local businesses that reflect the area’s character.
