From Forgotten to Celebrated: Public Tours at Bishop Hill

Commissioned by the Water Supplies Department, Walk in Hong Kong is the official operator of public guided tours to the Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir, also known as Mission Hill or Bishop Hill. The reservoir made headlines in early 2021 when demolition works revealed its long-hidden Romanesque stonework and vaulted arches, sparking widespread public interest and heritage discourse.

To support public access and understanding, we deliver three tours daily, providing interpretation of the site’s architectural and historical significance. Our scope includes docent training, tour manpower coordination, on-site logistics, and equipment provision. The result is a seamless and insightful experience for thousands of visitors engaging with one of Hong Kong’s most remarkable rediscoveries of recent years.
