Henderson Baker Circle Community Tour

Exploring the past to welcome the future—connecting Hung Hom’s heritage to its next chapter

Walking Hung Hom: Community Heritage Tours Around Baker Circle

In collaboration with Henderson Land Group, Walk in Hong Kong designed a public-facing community heritage tour around the historic Baker Circle area in Hung Hom, offering a deeper look into the neighbourhood’s transformation ahead of major new developments. This initiative aimed to preserve and honour the cultural memory of a community deeply rooted in everyday stories and architectural continuity.

Through our research-driven walking tours, participants explored the layered history of Hung Hom’s housing, trades, and resident life. Each tour concluded at a dedicated exhibition space, where community artifacts and archival materials provided further insight into the area’s evolving identity. By pairing public storytelling with thoughtful engagement, this project reflects our strength in crafting experiences that link heritage, place, and change.
