Behind the Scenes in Tainan: A Film-Themed Tour Like No Other

In early 2025, Walk in Hong Kong launched the 《Dating Omakase》Tainan Filming Tour, a first-of-its-kind travel experience that allowed participants to step into the real-world set of an in-production Hong Kong film. Set in collaboration with the film’s directors 黃浩然 and 鍾宏杰, the tour brought fans, film lovers, and cultural explorers behind the scenes of 《廚師發辦 Dating Omakase》 in the heart of Tainan.

Participants followed in the footsteps of the crew, visited real shooting locations, interacted with cast members, and engaged in curated cultural stops that revealed the deeper inspirations behind the film’s storyline. Through immersive storytelling, food experiences, and direct film access, the tour blurred the line between travel and cinema, offering a rare co-creative and experiential format that made headlines in both tourism and culture circles.
